The Cayman Islands Government have made a statement carried on CIGTV concerning a screenshot that appeared on a local media house of Health Minister, Sabrina Turner , not wearing a mask when she visited the Little Cayman Clinic on Tuesday March 22nd.

The statement claimed the visit was an impromptu stop to say thank you to the staff and there were no patients or members of the public there.

The Health Minister said “without proper context, I understand how the photo in question may appear. In, retrospect, I should have used my mask regardless of the clinic being closed.”
