As a final reminder, Hazard Management Cayman Islands (HMCI) is reminding developers and members of the public to remove all loose construction materials or debris and secure construction sites to ensure they do not present a threat or become airborne during the hurricane.

For safety, the public should:

• Remove construction materials from the top of any structure and tie them down to the ground,
• Anchor or relocate equipment,
• Move chemicals and other materials away from areas likely to flood
• Remove job site signage and
• Store construction materials inside a protected structure.
