Cayman: HSA closure update due to 24-hour curfew – Mar 25 2020
The Health Services Authority will be further limiting services and hours following today’s announcement by the Cayman Islands Government to impose a 24-hour curfew effective 7pm, Wednesday 25th March – 5am, Saturday 28th March. Please read the full statement below.
Closures
· Cayman Islands Hospital Pharmacy – If you require an urgent refill between Thursday 26 – Friday 27, please contact the Pharmacy 244-2715 or 244-2716 and we will bring the prescription to your home
· Faith Hospital Pharmacy – For urgent prescriptions please WhatsApp your refill label to 916-9555 and you will be contacted
· Acute Care Clinic at the General Practice Building
· District Health Centres
· Warfarin Clinic and patients on blood thinners will be contacted directly to reschedule
· Little Cayman Clinic will be open for emergencies only
The following services are still operational:
Cayman Islands Hospital
· Accident & Emergency – 24 hours
· Flu Clinic (8am – 4pm) – must be referred by the Flu Hotline
· Dialysis
· Chemotherapy
· In-patient services
· Home Visits
Faith Hospital (Cayman Brac)
· Accident & Emergency – 24 hours
· Flu Clinic at Aston Rutty Centre (8am – 4pm) – must be referred by the Flu Hotline
· Dialysis
In order to protect our patients and minimize potential exposure, patients are reminded to following the 24-hour curfew, remain at home, and only seek medical attention in case of an emergency.

If you are experiencing flu-like symptoms, please contact your private general health practitioner or call the HSA Flu Hotline 1-800-534-8600 or 947-3077 or email [email protected]. You will receive advice over the phone to guide on what the next steps are (ie. Stay at home, come to the Flu Clinic, etc).
