Just before 7AM last Friday morning 4 January, police and other emergency services were dispatched by the 9-1-1 Communication Center to a report of a motor vehicle collision involving three (3) vehicles, one of which was an ambulance that was in the process of responding to an emergency call with its blue lights and siren on. There was no patient in the ambulance at the time of collision.

Two persons involved in the collision received what is believed to be non-life-threatening-injuries and were transported to the hospital for treatment.

The matter is currently under police investigation and anyone with any information is asked to call the Traffic Management Unit at 649-6254 and speak with PC Matthew Thomas.
