A 31-year-old-man of George Town was arrested on suspicion of a robbery that took place on 31 December, 2018 around 12:31AM. The man has since been formally charged with Robbery as well as Damage to Property and is expected to attend court today Monday, 4 March.

The incident took place on Greenwood Drive in George Town. The suspect approached a vehicle occupied by the victim, brandished a knife and stole a phone. During the incident the suspect also damaged tires on the victim’s vehicle.

Property belonging to the victim was recovered during the course of the investigation and returned to the victim.
