Cayman Islands and Jamaican police joint drug bust in South Sound
On Wednesday 20th August 2014, around 10:15pm, a multi-agency operation between Local Law Enforcement Agencies and the Jamaican Authorities resulted in a drug smuggling vessel being intercepted and seized on the beach in South Sound near the cemetery.
The RCIPS is asking for the public’s assistance in reporting any suspicious or unusual activity that may assist in the capture of these three men who will likely be in need of shelter, food and clothing. Members of the Public are reminded that it is an Immigration Offence to assist an individual to land or depart illegally from the Cayman Islands.
