Compared to the last four years applications for Permanent Residency are being processed at a supersonic speed rate.

Below shows the Current Numbers of Permanent Residency Applications Reviewed by the Caymanian Status and Permanent Residency (CSPR) Board.

Thirtythree applications have been considered over the last four weeks and eight have been approved.

There is still a long way to go with over 1,000 piled up in the government filing cabinets but it is better than I expected.

At this rate allowing for holidays and additional applications, resubmissions, etc. we should see the backlog completed in 3 ½ years.
