Cayman Islands: Break-ins to passenger buses in George Town,

Yesterday morning, 11 September, police received reports of three vehicles being broken into overnight in the district of George Town. Two of the vehicles were passenger busses.
Shortly after 6:00AM, officers responded to a report that two vehicles had been broken into at an address on Anchorage Avenue in George Town. The front windows of the vehicles, a Toyota Hiace passenger bus and a Honda Civic, were smashed and the vehicles ransacked. Nothing of value was reported stolen.
Officers also responded to a report that a vehicle had been broken into at an address on Tempest Way, in George Town. A Toyota Hiace passenger bus was broken into and ransacked, and a quantity of cash and some personal items were taken.
The incidents are under police investigation, and the RCIPS would like to remind the public to take steps to ensure that no valuables are left inside vehicles, especially overnight.
