Cayman Islands Chamber of Commerce hosts first ‘Wine After Hours’
The Chamber of Commerce hosted its inaugural ‘Wine After Hours’ on Thursday 14th June.
The new series of events runs in partnership with Wine School 3, who provide attendees with a collection of fine wines for tasting, as well as some excellently chosen food pairings.
An intimate gathering of invited business owners and managing directors arrived at the Governors Square offices to partake in the evening, with Chamber President Paul Pearson and Secretary Colin Reid also in attendance.
Christian Esser, sommelier and co-owner of Wine School 3, found the evening to be a success. He stated: “It was a great wine tasting last night with some amazing wine challenges. Thank you to the Chamber for introducing us to other local businesses. With this great networking tool the Chamber offers we could gain more offers for bookings.”
Chamber of Commerce CEO, Wil Pineau, CCE, was also in attendance, saying: “Last night was an exciting and refreshing event which saw the Chamber begin a new venture. This new and more intimate style of an after-hours event enables us to work closely with local businesses and encourage new trade for them. We were thrilled to work with Wine School 3 last night, and we look forward to what the future holds for this type of event.”
The Chamber would like to thank Wine School 3 for providing some exquisite wines and for helping make the event a triumph.
