Cayman Islands Chamber’s upcoming Supervisor Course

For employees transitioning to new roles, it is important to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills to ensure success in their respective organisations. The Chamber’s Professional Development & Training Centre (PD&TC) is currently accepting registrations for its upcoming two-day course “The New Supervisor” scheduled for January 16 & 17, 2013. There are a few spaces remaining.

Topics covered in the course will include the role of the supervisor; leadership styles; building rapport with subordinates; motivating others; time management; delegation; decision making; managing performance; coaching; and developing people.

Course Facilitator, Lois Kellyman, is a Human Resources Professional, with 20 years experience in the field of Human Resources, Training & Development. She has worked in both the public and private sectors, and with small, medium and large businesses in a number of industries including health services, retail, finance, telecommunications, and aviation.

The Cayman Islands Chamber of Commerce continues to provide training on a weekly/monthly basis at the Chamber’s office location in Governors Square (corner of Lime Tree Bay and West Bay Road). One-day courses typically cost $150 for Chamber Members and $225 for Future Members and two-day courses cost $225 for Chamber Members and $300 for Future Members. For further details, please visit:
