Clifton Hunter High School will be hosting a Career Fair this Friday, 12 January 2018, from 9:00 am until 2:50 pmin the school’s auditorium under the theme: “Paving Pathways: Powering Possibilities.” The purpose of this fair is to expose students in Years 7 through 11 to various career paths and also to provide them with opportunities to network with potential employers. This event will feature local-based organizations from different sectors and occupational fields. Representatives from these organizations will set up information booths.
Students will be encouraged to visit different booths and they will have a chance to engage with professionals, pose questions and learn about the different career options that are available as well as the required qualifications for careers of interest. They will also have the opportunity to practice interview skills and network with employers in the hope of securing internships or summer employment.
It is anticipated that through their participation in the Careers Fair, students will be able to garner useful information, make important connections and be inspired to take the next step towards achieving their career goals.
