Cayman Islands: Cocaine recovered near South Sound Dock and destroyed
On Sunday, 7 October, officers responded to a report that members of the public had discovered suspicious packages washed ashore in the vicinity of the South Sound dock.
The five packages were recovered by officers, forensically examined, and found to contain a quantity of cocaine.
On Friday morning, 12th October, the drugs, which had a total weight of 5.2kg (including packaging), were destroyed.
