Cayman Islands: Collas Crill & CARD now called Collas Crill
On 1 January 2015 Collas Crill and CARD (Charles Adams Ritchie & Duckworth) formally merged. The merger created the first law firm with offices in Singapore, the Cayman Islands, London and each of the Channel Islands.
The merger formalised the existing arrangements between Collas Crill and CARD for providing Cayman advice through our Singapore office. This is something that many of our clients had been asking for and we are proud to offer them a truly seamless multi-jurisdictional service. The firm enjoys a spread of expertise and significant depth of knowledge and prides itself on responsiveness, ease of doing business with and a thoughtful approach to ensuring clients meet their objectives.
One year after the merger the Cayman office has formally changed its name to Collas Crill.
As part of the strategic merger plan, the firm remained as Collas Crill in Guernsey, Jersey, Singapore and London and traded as Collas Crill & CARD in the Cayman Islands for a transitional period.
Collas Crill Managing Partner Jason Romer said the merger formalized existing arrangements between Collas Crill and CARD for providing Cayman advice through the firm’s Singapore office, “which was something many of our clients had been asking for.”
