Dangerous Driving Arrest on Shedden Road Last Night, 5 May

 Just before 11PM last night, 5 May, the 9-1-1 Communications Centre received report of a single vehicle accident along Shedden Road in the vicinity of Dr. Roys Drive in which a male, who was not a passenger, sustained serious injuries. The man was taken to the hospital and is being examined in the surgical ward; at this time his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

 The driver of the vehicle, a man, age 47, of George Town, was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, driving under the influence, and damage to property.  He is currently on Police Bail.

 Investigation into the circumstances surrounding the accident are underway.
