CTMH Doctors Hospital is pleased to welcome a third paediatrician to their complement of Doctors. Dr. Jasmina Marinova is a Paediatrician Neonatologist who has 27 years of experience in all aspects of child care. She works with healthy or sick (neonatal) newborn babies, acutely unwell children of all ages, including those with chronic medical and developmental conditions. Dr. Marinova joins CTMH Doctors Hospital’s other two paediatricians Dr. Ramon Lacanilao and Dr. Petra Schwery. This dynamic trio now generates a well-rounded ‘Paediatric Power House’ at CTMH Doctors Hospital.

At CTMH Doctors Hospital, we have the experienced staff to deal with your newborn infants, children and adolescents. Our physicians and nurses make your child’s routine check-ups, ongoing health screenings and immunizations an enjoyable experience. We are highly trained in treating and comforting your child when they are sick and suffering from the onset of an illness, and in particular we are able to treat young people in need of urgent and/or trauma care such as lacerations and fractures.

Dr. Patrick Auman, Hospital Administrator explained, “Having diversification in Paediatric training gives Doctors Hospital the ability to offer a wide variety of care to infants and children all the way through their paediatric and adolescence years (18 years old).“ He furthered, “This broadens our care to conditions that require acute care, such as chronic conditions, non-cancerous blood disorders, and even Neonatology!” Neonatology is a hospital-based specialty, and is usually practiced in neonatal intensive care units (NICU’s). Neonatology is crucial for premature and sick term babies, often requiring the resuscitation process after birth.
