Four Arrested for Prospect Point Road Robbery

Update:

The man, age 19, who was arrested over the weekend in connection with a robbery which took place on Prospect Point Road on Monday, 21 May (see previous releases), has been formally charged with Robbery.

He is appearing in court this morning, 29 May.

This past weekend, a man, age 19, and a juvenile male, age 17, both of George Town, along with two women, age 35 of George Town, and age 19 of West Bay, were arrested on suspicion of robbery and assault GBH. This is in connection with a robbery which took place on Prospect Point Road on Monday morning, 21 May (see previous release).

The 19-year-old woman has been bailed, while the other three remain in custody as investigations continue.

Man Charged with Criminal Trespass, 28 May

A man, age 30 of West Bay, has been formally charged with Criminal Trespass. This is in relation to an incident on the morning of Thursday, 24 May, where police responded to a report of a man loitering and acting suspiciously at the rear of an apartment complex on North West Point Road, West Bay. The man was seen walking onto the patios and peering into the windows of some of the units before leaving the location. He was located and arrested by officers shortly afterwards.

He is appearing in court this morning, 28 May.
