Cayman Islands Further Education Centre (CIFEC) hosts mock interviews
The Cayman Islands Further Education Centre (CIFEC) hosted mock interviews for ten students enrolled in its Health and Social Care Programme on 25 and 27 April.
The mock interviews aimed to simulate a real interview experience, allowing the students to practice and improve their interview skills while receiving feedback from experienced interviewers.
During the interview process, the candidates received assistance from Mr. Shomari Scott, Chief Business Officer at Health City Cayman Islands, while the interviews were conducted by Ms. Krystle McLean, Health Services Authority Recruitment Officer, and Mr. Charles Bush, Senior Education Coordinator at Health City Cayman Islands.
Mrs. Jenine Stewart, the Career Services Manager of CIFEC, was responsible for organising the activities. She expressed her satisfaction with the interviews and praised the candidates for being professional and well-prepared.
“We are delighted to have hosted the mock interviews for students in our Health and Social Care Programme who will become certified Healthcare Aides after completing the programme at the end of this school year. It was a great opportunity for them to gain experience and confidence in the interview process, which will be invaluable as they pursue their careers in the healthcare sector,” Mrs. Stewart added.
The Career Services Manager assured that CIFEC is committed to providing its students with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their chosen careers.
“The mock interview event is just one example of the school’s dedication to preparing its students for success in various sectors,” she said.
