George Town Man Charged for Wounding with Intent, 4 February
A 25-year-old-man of George Town who was arrested on Wednesday, 30 January in relation to an assault incident ( see press release below), has since been charged with Wounding with intent or Wounding in the alternative. He will be appearing in summary court this morning (Mon 4).

Just before midnight last night, Wednesday 30 January, police and other emergency services were dispatched by the 9-1-1 Communication Centre to a residence on Watler’s Road, George Town, where it was reported that two (2) men who are known to each other had an altercation, resulting in one of the men receiving a knife wound.
The wounded man was transported to the hospital where is undergoing treatment. He is believed to have sustained serious injury.
A 25-year-old-man of George Town was arrested on suspicion of assault GBH and is currently in custody pending further investigation.
This incident is being investigated by the police.
