About CNCF’s Grants for the Arts
As part of our mission to facilitate and preserve all forms of artistic expression in Cayman, the Cultural Foundation awards financial grants to individuals, groups and organisations to help further development, to assist in bringing a worthy project to fruition, or in some cases to support an ongoing project or programme. The CNCF Grants Committee reviews the applications to determine if the application has merit and decides if the dollar amount applied for should be granted, or granted in a reduced amount. The Grants Committee members are Board Members, Lorna Reid and Morgan DaCosta, and educator, Mary Anne Kosa. At each session, depending on the area of specialty arising from the applications, an experienced member from the Cayman Islands arts community may be invited to join the Committee members to offer their expertise and recommendations. CNCF has awarded grants for training, productions, publications, attendance at festivals and special projects.
