Invictus Reggae Track & Field Meet
CTMH Doctors Hospital is a proud sponsor of this years Invictus Reggae Track & Field Meet to be held at the Truman Bodden Sports Complex on June 9th-10th, 2017.
Participants and attendees can expect trophies, medals, prizes, food, and great music!
This event offers the Cayman communities an opportunity to re-engage with the incredibly active talent that our island holds.
This Inaugural Meet will have a Primary School Division, a High-School Division, an Athletic Clubs Division, a Security Services Division, Special Olympics, and a Utilities & Bankers Division.
The athletes will be awarded with medals for the top three places while the winning teams in each Division will receive a 50” flat screen television.
This event is aimed towards regenerating a real local interest within this realm of sports. Sixty percent of the proceeds will go to the Invictus Sports Academy to offset its cost in the competing at the ‘Flying Eagles International Classic’ in Toronto, Canada, in July 2017.
The remaining forty percent will go to the Special Olympics Cayman Islands organization, with whom Invictus has partnered. For this inaugural Meet, there will be no entry fees charged for teams and athletes competing.
There will however, be an entry fee for spectators which allows the Cayman Communities to show their local support for all Caymanian athletes.
This is definitely an event you wont want to miss. Come show your support this June 9th-10th at the Invictus Reggae Track & Field Meet. CTMH Doctors Hospital is honored to sponsor our Cayman Athletes while providing Exceptional Care Close to Home.
