Cayman Islands: Intruder at West Bay Residence reported early Sunday morning, 4 February

Just before 3AM on Sunday morning, officers responded to a report of an intruder at a West Bay residential address. A resident at the address had locked herself in her bedroom after her residence was broken into by a man with a dark complexion and short. The man was said to have had on no shirt and was wearing green shorts. After a few minutes, the man departed.
The woman was not harmed during the incident, and nothing was found to have been stolen. The matter is currently under police investigation.
The RCIPS is urging residents to exercise caution and to ensure that all doors and windows are locked, especially at nights and when leaving home.
