Shortly before 3:00PM on Friday, 19 October, officers on patrol at Seven Mile Public Beach were informed by a member of the public that a man had been seen indecently exposing himself nearby. Officers immediately approached the male and, upon speaking to him, observed that he had a knife on his person. Officers attempted to arrest the man, who fled. They pursued on foot. He was apprehended nearby and taken into custody.

The male, age 48 of West Bay, has been formally charged with Indecent Exposure, Possession of an Offensive Weapon, and Resisting Arrest. He is appearing in court this morning, 22 October.
