A man, age 30, of George Town, was arrested in connection with the stabbing of an 18-year-old man that took place in the parking lot of Nectar Bar in 7 Mile Shops on West Bay Road, last Saturday (21). The incident took place early Saturday morning, and the arrest was made later the same day.

The man was charged today with Grievous Bodily Harm with Intent in connection with this incident and with Causing Harassment, Alarm or Distress in connection with a separate incident in June 2015. He is due in court tomorrow.

The victim was taken to George Town Hospital on Saturday, and admitted and treated for a collapsed lung. He remains in the hospital in stable condition.
