A man, age 41, was charged on Tuesday, 10 November, with three counts of Indecent Assault in connection with a complaint referred to police in February of this year from a child protection officer at John Gray High School. A police investigation was launched by the Family Support Unit after receipt of the complaint, and the man was arrested on 10 March 2015, and then bailed.

The man was a teacher at the school, and was suspended from his duties from the date the matter was reported to police in February. He appeared in court yesterday, 17 November. At that hearing the Court directed that no information should be released in the media or elsewhere that could lead to the identification of the victims, who are all juveniles. The man has been bailed to appear in court again on 1 December 2015.
