At about 2:30PM on Thursday, 30 August, officers responded to a report of a man exposing himself and committing an indecent act at Cemetery Beach in West Bay. Officers responded immediately and arrested the man on suspicion of gross indecency. The man was also found to be in possession of a knife.

Today (31 Aug), the man, age 54 of George Town, was formally charged with Committing an Act Outraging Public Decency and Carrying an Offensive Weapon. He appeared before the court this afternoon and was remanded into custody until Monday, 3 September.
