Shortly after 11:00PM on Monday, 3 September, officers received a report of an incident which had taken place at an address on West End Road, in Cayman Brac, where a woman was raped by a man known to her. Police responded and the man, age 31 of Cayman Brac, was taken into custody shortly afterwards.

The man has now been formally charged with Rape. He is appearing in court this morning, 7 September.
