Cayman Islands: Man faces charges for November 2017 attempted theft from GTPS premises

Charges of Attempted Theft, Criminal Trespass, Damage to Property, Driving without Being Qualified and Driving without Insurance have been authorized against a man in relation to an incident on 17 November 2017 on the premises of the George Town Police Station.The man, age 32 of George Town, is currently on remand for other charges, and is expected to be brought to court next week in relation to this case. At that time he will be formally charged.

Arrest for Attempted Theft at George Town Police Station, 22 November
A man, aged 32 of George Town, was arrested this morning, 23 November, on suspicion of criminal trespass, damage to property and attempted theft, in connection with the attempted theft of a motorcycle from the rear of the GTPS early yesterday morning.
He is currently in police custody.
