In September, the bridegroom is to join the Manhattan law firm Simpson Thacher and Bartlett as an associate. He received a law degree from New York University.

He is a son of Myra D. Rochelson of Manhattan and Dr. Burton Rochelson of Port Washington, N.Y. His mother is a lawyer in Brooklyn for the Second Department of the New York Appellate Division. His father is the chief of maternal fetal medicine for the North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System.
