At approximately 830am today a 43 year old male riding a BMW motorcycle was involved in a collision with a Pajero Jeep motor vehicle near to the junction with Forte Street George Town, both vehicles were traveling towards West Bay.

The rider of the motorcycle received non-life threatening injuries and was taken to George Town Hospital for treatment and later released, the other male driver was not injured.

RCIPS can confirm that the injured motor cycle rider is a police officer.
