Cayman Islands plan to attract more Brazilians

The U.S., Japan and Europe are the top destinations of tourists planning an international trip. However, many are unaware of the leisure tourism potential of the Cayman Islands, which are located in Central America. With their incredible natural landmarks, their great cuisine, safety and first world infrastructure, The Cayman Islands have already confirmed their participation at ABAV – The Tourism Fair of the Americas – to show participants how interesting their region is.

“Penetrating the Brazilian market is more than just strategic for the Cayman Islands, it is simply fundamental. We are a new destination for Brazilians seeking sophistication, top infrastructure, exuberant nature and safety. And all that’s just one hour away from Miami”, says Shomari Scott, Minister of Tourism of the Cayman Islands.

With their nice climate, the Cayman Islands, a British overseas territory located in the Caribbean, are part of the Cayman submarine ridge. Located 241 km south of Cuba and 289 km west of Jamaica, in the Central Caribbean, the largest of the three Cayman Islands is Grand Cayman. The other two are Cayman Brac and Little Cayman, located northeast of Grand Cayman.
