Cayman Islands police investigate theft of boat from Sunrise Landing in Savannah

Police are investigating a report yesterday afternoon, Tuesday, 6 December, of the theft of a 26’ Stingray Census boat, “Makaira”, from the boat dock at Sunrise Landing in Savannah. The boat has a white hull, a blue Bimini top, a centre console and a 1994 Hull Dusky 225HP Honda engine.
The owner had been off island and discovered the theft of the boat upon his return. A picture of the boat is attached.
