Cayman Islands police recruitment removes all deadlines
RCIPS Establishes Open and Ongoing Recruitment of Local Constables, No Deadlines Apply
The RCIPS has removed application deadlines for local residents who may wish to become a police constable. Interested applicants can now submit completed applications online at any time.
In recent years recruitment drives for local police officers always included application deadlines, which were followed by the testing and interview stages of the recruitment process. Now applications submitted throughout the year will be considered whenever the recruitment process is undertaken, usually in the fall.
“Our intention is to make the recruitment process more convenient for those in the local community who wish to serve their country as a police constable,” said Derek Byrne, Commissioner of Police.
Applications for Police Constable for local residents (having either Caymanian citizenship or permanent residency with the right to work with no restrictions) can be found at our new webpage at www.rcips.ky. While a new police website is under construction in coming months, all required forms as well as the application for police constable can be found on this webpage.
