We may still be over two months away from the 27th Annual Taste of Cayman Food & Wine Festival, and we may still have Thanksgiving and Christmas to get through but here in the CITA office we are in full event mode. We’re hard at work preparing for what we expect to be the best Taste of Cayman yet! We hope you’ve already marked your calendars and made your plans to join us on SATURDAY, 7 FEBRUARY 2015!

FESTIVAL GREEN

We’re pleased that the Festival Green at Camana Bay will be the home of Taste of Cayman once again! Camana Bay has come on board as our platinum sponsor and host of the 2015 Festival. 2013 was our first year on the Festival Green and we loved the look and feel of the event which is reminiscent of our humble beginnings in a field much like our current venue. We love our home and we plan to stay there as long as Camana Bay will have us! A huge thank you to Camana Bay for being such gracious hosts! We look forward to an amazing day on 7 February!

Tickets are now on sale for Taste of Cayman 2015. This year we are having an early bird special of CI$35 per ticket for the month of November only. As of 1 December however, pre-sale tickets will be CI$40 each and on event day tickets will be CI$50.

We are also offering a reduced corporate rate of CI$30 per ticket for companies purchasing between 30 and 35 tickets at one time, which means even greater savings. Prices include 15 food tickets.

TASTE OF CAYMAN SPREADING KINDNESS…

Even though CITA is a non-profit organisation, we understand the importance of giving back to our community. Each year we donate part proceeds from the Festival to a charity. This year we have partnered with Cayman’s ARK (Acts of Random Kindness) whose mission is to be a friend to people in unique circumstances of crisis and demonstrate kindness through loving acts of service.

Their outreach efforts include providing basic amenities for those who are less fortunate; home improvements for the elderly or others who have been adversely affected by hurricanes; raising funds for treatment of life threatening diagnoses dealt to families with limited or no health insurance; and providing refuge for abused women and children. You will have an opportunity to donate to Cayman’s ARK by handing in your unused food and drink tickets when you’re leaving the Festival. Part of the value of each food ticket will be donated to ARK. In addition, people who purchase their tickets from the CITA office and make a cash donation to Cayman’s ARK will have their choice of one discount package from participating CITA members. We really want to be able to give generously to this worthy cause.
