The Cayman Islands Seafarers’ Association has agreed to sponsor two qualified Caymanian medical doctors over the next four years while they train to become specialists.

Cayman Islands Finance Minister Marco Archer proposed the sponsorship because of the association’s past involvement with and contributions to the hospital and they most graciously agreed.

The official announcement of the Seafarers’ medical Scholarship will be held at the Seafarers Hall on Monday 21st September at 10.00am.

Taking part in the announcement will be representatives from the Seafarers’ Association, Finance Minister Marco Archer and Cayman Islands Health Services Authority CEO Lizzette Yearwood.

Everyone is invited to attend.
