Cayman Islands: Sentencing delayed for a ninth time for former FIFA vice-president Jeffrey Webb

Disgraced former Concacaf president and FIFA vice-president Jeffrey Webb has had his sentencing delayed for a ninth time.
His sentencing has now been moved back to September 10.
In 2015 Webb pleaded guilty to racketeering, wire fraud and money laundering conspiracies after his arrest in Zurich in May 2015 as one of the original seven indictments issued by the U.S. department of justice in the fifagate scandal.
Webb who was due to be sentenced this month has been under house arrest in the US and in the past already agreed to forfeit more than $6.7 million.
Webb is also wanted by Cayman Islands authorities in connection with his role in the carepay swipe card scandal at health services authority.
In the meantime Alexandro Burzaco, the former CEO of Torneos, who pleaded guilty to racketeering, conspiracy, wire fraud conspiracy and money laundering conspiracy has had his sentencing pushed back to august 21.
He was a key witness in the trial and in securing convictions for Juan angel Napout and Jose Maria Marin.
In court Burzaco admitted to paying in excess of $150 million in bribes for football rights.
