Cayman Islands: Sexual assault reported outside Bananas Bar early this morning, Wednesday 25 October

Shortly before 3:45am on Wednesday, 25 October, police responded to a report of an indecent assault outside Bananas bar in George Town. A woman who had been inside the establishment walked outside with a friend a little ways into the car park. She was then approached by a man who pulled her away, pulled at her clothing and then assaulted her nearby. The man then fled the scene.
Police carried out checks in the area upon arriving at the scene, and throughout wider George Town during the early morning hours, but found no one fitting the description provided.
The suspect is described as being dark-skinned, about 5’8” in height, of medium build and was wearing a green shirt and blue pants.
