Shortly before 9PM Wednesday night, 22 November, the 9-1-1 Communications Centre dispatched officers to a report of a single motor vehicle collision on the Esterley Tibbets Highway, south of Yacht Drive.

A white Honda Civic collided with a light pole, sustaining severe damage.

The driver was transported to the Cayman Islands Hospital where he remains in critical condition.
