Cayman Islands: Single-Vehicle Collision on Esterly Tibbets Highway Sat Morning, 2 June

The Esterly Tibbets Highway has now been re-opened to traffic.
Two of the victims in the collision have been released from hospital. One victim has been transferred to Health City Cayman Islands for further treatment and the fourth remains at the Cayman Islands Hospital in critical condition.
Further to the below, the road is expected to remain closed until about 12:00PM today.
Shortly after 3AM thismorning, officers responded to a report of a single-vehicle collision on the Esterly Tibbets Highway. The four occupants of the vehicle sustained injuries, and were transported to the Cayman Islands Hospital. At least one of the victims is in critical condition.
The section of the Esterly Tibbets Highway between the Camana Bay and Butterfield roundabouts is currently closed and traffic is being diverted onto West Bay Road.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible.
