This morning, 18 May, just before 10AM, the 9-1-1 Communications Centre received a report that a red car had collided with a CUC pole along ETH in the vicinity of Nelson Quay, and flipped over.   The driver of the vehicle, a woman, was not injured.  She has been arrested on suspicion of DUI and taken into police custody.  The CUC pole was damaged and is being removed by CUC workers, and the vehicle is also being removed.  No lanes of traffic are blocked at this time, but motorists are asked to be mindful of police and other personnel along the road in that area.
