Cayman Islands Tourism Exchange Delegates came to explore Cayman!

Cayman Eastern Promises Excursion stops at TukkaOnce again, travel trade professionals from around the globe travelled to Cayman for the 12th Annual Cayman Islands Tourism Exchange (CITE), where they received the latest updates about the Cayman Islands as a premier travel destination in the Caribbean. Delegates in the travel trade industry arrived the last few days of April, and stayed through May 3rd, 2013. In all, CITE had more than 100 participants, representing international media partners, 15 travel trade wholesalers, 22 local tourism-related companies, the Cayman Islands Department of Tourism and the Cayman Islands Tourism Association.

After a full day of business meetings with local suppliers, the buyers and media participants were hosted by various companies across Grand Cayman. This ‘excurion day’ was a unique opportunity to showcase so many of the amazing sides of Cayman’s tourism product to the people who sell Cayman to future visitors. Each excursion included:

1. Hotel site inspections
