Cayman Islands Tourism says “Educate. Engage. Evolve”
The Cayman Islands Tourism Association (CITA) is proud to partner with the National Workforce Development Agency (NWDA) to host a public tourism networking session under the theme “EDUCATE.ENGAGE. EVOLVE” which is scheduled to take place at the Grand Cayman Marriott Beach Resort on Friday, August 14th, 2015 from 1 p.m. through 5 p.m.
Both NWDA clients as well as members of the public wanting to learn more about the tourism industry are welcome to attend. A specially-invited panel of industry professionals will address those in attendance and there will be a forum allowing for audience participation. Panelists will include 2015 Stingray Tourism Award Recipients: “Rising Star” Ms. Sarah Hydes of the Grand Cayman Marriott, and “Allied Manager of the Year”, Mr. Joelle McCrae of the Cayman Turtle Farm, as well as the Director Tourism, Mrs. Rosa Harris.
Mr. Brian Holland, Director of the NWDA encourages full participation saying “Tourism is a critically important industry to the Cayman economy. In attending the networking session, Caymanians can learn more about the wide range of occupations that this industry supports and make an informed choice about what they need to do and prepare for these opportunities. NWDA is pleased to work with CITA to increase awareness of what tourism can offer Caymanians for a fulfilling career.”
