Cayman Islands’ Triple C students rise to the challenge
On Friday, September 26th Triple C Students of all ages (Pre-School to Grade 12) joined together and walked to raise funds for the Ena Merren Memorial Scholarship fund. This is the first year for the in- school walk and the results were amazing. The students were all challenged to have family and friends to sponsor them for the walk but each class was also challenged to walk together as a joint effort to raise funds for this cause. The class with the highest percentage of students walking from Elementary and High School would win a class prize plus a 1st Place trophy to be kept in their homeroom till the following year.

The Ena Merren Memorial Scholarship Fund is named after one of Triple C’s founders, Miss Ena Merren, who assisted students in coming to Triple C School from when they first opened their doors in 1941. The in-school walk is part of a two-day fundraiser with the final event being the annual Ena Merren Memorial 5K Walk/Run.
