Two men arrested in connection with burglar
Two men were arrested on Wednesday, 22 July, in connection with a burglary at an unoccupied apartment in George Town that occurred sometime between 20 and 22 July. During the burglary, a bicycle was stolen.
One male, age 48 years, is in police custody on suspicion of burglary, and the second male, age 49, is in custody on suspicion of handling stolen goods. Both are residents of George Town.

Mystery block found in sea inconclusive
The RCIPS said Wednesday (22 ) there is no conclusive answer on the cement block found in the sea with handcuffs attached either its origin or purpose. However, they believe it most likely was used as a fixing or mooring line for a boat and not for any sinister purpose.
