CITN/Cayman27 are reporting that the 36-year-old woman arrested on suspicion of the robbery (see below) is Christine Rae Smith who is a personal assistant in the George Town constituency office of MLAs Roy McTaggart and Winston Connolly. On Thursday evening, 6 August, Police arrested a 36-year-old woman on suspicion of robbery. This relates to two matters, a robbery (home invasion) at Raleigh Quay on the 26 June 2015, and a robbery at the Elegant Nails Spa at Godfrey Nixon Way on 10 July 2015.

On Friday evening, 7 August, a 38-year-old man was arrested in connection with the same matters. Both persons, who are from George Town, are currently in Police Custody.
