At 9:45 this morning near Beach Bay Road a motorcycle traveling east at a fast speed collided with the vehicle in front of it, and then crashed into another vehicle traveling the opposite direction. The motorcycle was extensively damaged; however, the rider left the scene before police arrived. The driver of the second vehicle struck a tree and received minor injuries. Traffic was affected for two hours but not diverted. The motorcycle had been reported stolen from a Bodden Town residence yesterday. The matter is currently under investigation by officers at the Bodden Town Police Station.
