Just before 6AM on Saturday 13 October, police and other emergency personnel were dispatched by the 9-1-1 Communication Centre to a report of a vehicle that was caught on fire, along Watler’s Road in George Town.

The Cayman Islands Fire Service put out the fire, which had engulfed a blue Honda Torneo.  The fire is believed to have been deliberately started and an arson investigation has been launched into this matter by the police.

The police are asking anyone with information regarding this incident to please call 9-1-1 or the George Town Police Station at 949-4222.
