CIBC First Caribbean International Bank’s Walk for the Cure Starting October 04, 2015

All proceeds benefit the Cayman Islands Cancer Society

Date: Sunday, Oct. 4, 2015

Time: 7-Mile Public Beach (grouping from 6:30)

Start time 7 a.m. Route: 5k Walk (Runners are welcome)

Registration fee: KYD$5.00 (ages 3-11) KYD$10.00 (ages 12 & up)

Donations are accepted as well to the Walk for the Cure account.

This is the fourth year of the Walk for the Cure, which has raised about US $330,000 regionally. The funds are used to support critical cancer care, purchase equipment for treatments, and host informational programmes. Last year, Cayman raised nearly US$18,000. All of the money raised went to the Cayman Islands Cancer Society.

This year, CIBC FirstCaribbean hopes to exceed last year’s total and raise an additional US$300,000.

All three branches of CIBC FirstCaribbean are accepting donations to the Walk For The Cure account and all proceeds will go to the Cayman Islands Cancer Society again this year.
