Yesterday, 29^th March, shortly before noon, Travis Alexander Ebanks, who escaped from police custody on Tuesday, 21^st March near West Bay Police Station, turned himself in at the Fairbanks Detention Center.  At that time he was further arrested for escaping lawful custody and theft of government equipment.

Today, 30^th March, he is scheduled to appear in court this afternoon on charges of burglary (arising from a burglary at Tortuga Bakery & Shop in West Bay on 20^th of March), and taking a conveyance without authority.

The RCIPS commends Ebanks’ family members for their assistance in bringing him in.
