Cayman Islands: Water-related death in North Sound,

Shortly after 12:00PM yesterday, Wed 28 November, the 9-1-1 Communications Centre received a report of a person in distress in the waters of the North Sound. A man had been out on a snorkeling trip when he lost consciousness after entering the water. He was assisted back aboard the vessel he had been on and CPR was performed as the vessel returned to shore. The man was then transported by EMS to the Cayman Islands Hospital and subsequently pronounced dead.
