A man, age 22, from West Bay, was charged today in connection with the 4 July firearm incident on Sunburst Lane in West Bay as well as an incident on 1 July.  During the incident on 4 July the man suffered stab wounds to the chest and head, and was hospitalized for an extended period. 

Today he has been charged with two counts of attempted murder, and possession of an unlicensed firearm stemming from that incident, as well as common assault, threats to kill, theft and criminal damage in connection with the 1 July incident. 

The man is expected to appear in court later this morning.
